Route: where we will go

Moscow – Tula – Ryazan – Moscow

Day 1. Moscow – Tula, 280 km

After leaving Moscow we will make our first stop next to an old Cathedral years ago owned by a Galytsin noble family. After that we will head off toward Tula. Right before we enter the town will visit a WWII memorial - “Motherland’s sky defenders”. We will check-in, leave the bikes and will walk around Tula. Visiting a brand new interactive Weaponry museum is on the list. In the evening we can either continue walking down the streets of downtown and visit the Kremlin or just relax enjoying nice food in one of the local restaurants.

Day 2. Tula – Kulikovo field - Ryazan, 370 km

In the first half of the day we will drive to Krasnaya polyana – a former Leo’s Tolstoy estate which is today turned into a museum. After lunch we will head to Kulikovo field where a new reserve-museum is placed. “Mamay battle” or “Battle on the Don” – these are the names of the famous battle between Russian army lead by moscovian prince Dmitry Donskoy and Tatar-Mongolian army of Khans Mamay and Tulunbek which took place here in 1380. Our next stop will be in Ryazan where we will visit Kremlin and walk around historical city center.

Day 3. Ryazan – Moscow, 300 km

After leaving Ryazan we will visit one more museum, this time dedicated to Russian poet Sergey Esenin. Next stop is going to be in a small town Kolomna where we will try a local delicious – pastille. After that the only thing waiting for us will be the road home.
