Route: where we will go

Tbilisi – Chiora – Kutaisi – Mestia – Batumi – Borjomi –  Vardzia – Tbilisi

Day 1. Arriving to Tbilisi 

Arrival to the airport of Tbilisi. Transfer to the Mtskheta city (25 km from Tbilisi). Meeting with a group in the hotel, kick off meeting and welcome dinner. 

Important: to prevent any timing issues, please, make sure your arrival time is not later than 3 p.m.

Day 2. Tbilisi – Chiora, 300 km

In the morning we visit Mtskheta, small and vert nice old town near Tbilisi. After we go to Gori, where Stalin was born and there is local museum devoted to him. Here we have lunch. After we go to the mountains to Chiora village, to small hotel with locals.

Day 3. Chiora – Kutaisi, 180 km

Today we will visit several wineries, few caves and monasteries, plenty of small villages and you will ride 180 km of cool serpentine roads.

Day 4. Kutaisi – Mestia, 250 km

Today we go to Mestia, probably most beautiful region of Georgia (but that is disputed, all regions are beautiful). We will stop at Martvily Canyon and Inguri hydroelectric station, one of the largest in the world. 

Day 5. Mestia, rest day

With local guide we explore this area. There are ski resorts with cabins, museums, old towers and the Prince Tamara Fortress.

Day 6. Mestia – Batumi, 300 km

We get down from the mountains to the Black Sea. We visit the Dadiani palace in Zugdidi, the church of St. Nicholas in Poti and stop for the night in Batumi.

Day 7. Batumi, rest day

Another very interesting city with its own sharm. We think you will enjoy Batumi. 

Day 8. Batumi – Borjomi, 230 km

Today we ride with small secondary roads to Borjomi, mineral water resort. During the day we make stop at Vani atcheological museum, and in the evening walk in the Borjomi park. 

Day 9.  Borjomi – Tbilisi, 280 km

We will ride past lake Paravani and Tsalka reservoir. We will go to Dashbashi canyon with amazing waterfalls and serpentine roads. Then we will approach Tbilisi, where we will enjoy farewell dinner. 

Day 10. Tbilisi, departure home

Time to go home. See you!
