Route: where we will go

Tbilisi – Erevan – Sevan Lake – Dseh – Signakhi – Telavi

Day 1. Arriving to Tbilisi 

Arrival, transfer to the hotel, kick off meeting and welcome dinner. 

Important: to prevent any timing issues, please, make sure your arrival time is not later than 3 p.m.

Day 2. Tbilisi, city tour

Walking city tour with local guide.

Day 3. Tbilisi – Yerevan, 300 km

Today we cross the border and enter Armenia. On a beautiful road through Izhevan and Dilijan we go to Yerevan. Dilijan is a mountain climatic and balneological resort, surrounded by the territory of the Dilijan Reserve – one of the richest in the South Caucasus.

Day 4. Yerevan, rest day

Half day tour of Yerevan, after lunch free time.

Day 5. Yerevan – Lake Sevan, 260 km

In the morning we visit the monastery complex Khor Virap, it is from here that the best view of the biblical Mount Ararat opens. Next, Noravank, a UNESCO monument, awaits you.

We go further, visit the Areni cave, and through the pass we go to Lake Sevan. On the way, we will make a stop at the pass near the loaf-saray, which was an overnight stay and a transit point on the Silk Road.

Further, our path lies on Lake Sevan, one of the main attractions of Armenia. The lake is located at an altitude of almost 2000 meters.

Day 6. Lake Sevan – Dsegh, 220 km

Today you will find the Lori Bird fortress, the canyon, the smart center and the Sanahin monastery complex. We are staying at a hotel near the village of Dsegh.

Day 7. Dsegh – Sighnaghi, 280 km

We return to Georgia, pass the border and go to the David Gareji Monastery. Then we go to Sighnaghi, check into a hotel, walk around this lovely old town.

Day 8. Sighnaghi – Kvareli – Telavi, 220 km

We make a circle around Kakheti, visit several wineries, in the evening we stop at a wine chateau / estate for the night. Wine tasting, outdoor recreation.

Day 9. Telavi – Tbilisi, 200 km

Through Tianeti we return to the Georgian military road and drive back to Vladikavkaz. Farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 10. Tbilisi, flight home
