During the spring we arranged several tours over the Caucasus Mountains, mostly Dagestan Region, and we would like to share some nice pictures from these trips.
Some may think these tours are off-road, but that is not correct. The route is 90% asphalted, of 1800 km we have 150-200 km of gravel roads, but the unpaved sections get the most photos, and they are the most beautiful. We dont have many photos from the asphalted sections, but there are more than enough from stops while driving on dirt roads.
The weather is changing in that region, its has been a few years in a row, that April is hot, and in May weather gets colder and more rains, which in untypical. We hope the weather will be better next year for the May, but just in case removed dates of the Caucasus Tours closer to summer for a couple of weeks.
