Day 2

Sochi, 100 km

This day we are going to see Krasnaya Polyana and main Sochi attractions.

Krasnaya Polyana is located at a distance approximately 40 kilometers from the Black Sea coast, at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. The road from Sochi to Krasnaya Polyana is the most expensive road built in Russia due to the complicated technological solutions used and many mountain tunnels built. We will ride this road to reach Krasnaya Polyana. On all sides it is enclosed by high mountains: in the west - mountain Achishkho and its spurs, in the east -  the Aibga Ridge.

In Krasnaya Polyana, we go up to the mountains by the cable car. On our way back we will stop for lunch in a private restaurant in very nice, almost unreachable place in the mountains.

In Sochi we will visit some of the main city attractions (mountains, Stalin house), including the local central market.

The second day of motorcycle trip in Sochi bay

Day 3

Sochi – Krasnodar, 300 km

This day the road to Krasnodar awaits us. It will be a long serpentine with nice turns and picturesque view spots. In the late afternoon, tired, but inspired by what we have seen and learned during the tour, we will arrive in Krasnodar.

In Krasnodar we will walk over the main central street to see the main city sights and learn more about the history and culture of that city and region.

Krasnodar Region - the third day of trip

Day 4

Krasnodar – Rostov-on-Don/Novocherkassk, 300 км

This day is devoted to Don Cossacks and their chief town - Novocherkassk. After a stop for lunch and a quick overview of Rostov-on-Don we will go to Novocherkassk to visit the Museum of the History of the Don Cossacks, the Ataman Palace, and the third largest Ascension Cathedral in Russia (Voznesensky Sobor).

At the city market of we will buy homemade Don Wines, and we will have a special local barbecue meat prepared by real Cossack for dinner.

Day 5

Novocherkassk – Divnogorie, 400 km

Today we are going to reach Divnogorie, a wonderful place that has everything that the southern forest-steppe is famous for: striking blue rivers, green floodplain meadows, pristine white chalk cliffs, and silver feather grass steppes. In the midst of this landscape there are vertical chalk pillars called divas (named the whole area Divnogorie) piercing the sky, and on the river’s steep slopes dark entrances of human-made caves can be seen.

We are going to stop for a night in a cozy guest house in Divnogorie. You will experience how people leave in Russia in rural areas, try their food. There will be fishing and a dinner prepared at the fireplace in the evening. What is more important, today you will learn how the real Russian nature looks and feels like – you will experience it’s calm and peaceful consistency.

Divnogorie region - 4th day of trip

Day 6

Divnogorie – Voronezh, 200 km

In the morning we will have several hours walking tour over Divnogorie.

After lunch we leave for Voronezh. The city recently celebrated its 425th anniversary. It is considered to be motherland of Russia Navy and Air forces. The first Russian ship was built here by Peter the Great in the year of 1700. And here Russian tester L.G. Minov made his first jump with a parachute from the plane in 1930th.

Leaving our motorbikes we will go for a walk around the city, visit the Annunciation Cathedral, then go down towards the Admiralty Square, and have dinner on the wharf. Voronezh today is the center of meat production in Russia, so for dinner we will have the best Russian steak.

Riding to Voronezh city

Day 7

Voronezh – Tula – Moscow, 550 km

This day we are going to visit several interesting small cities and places riding only secondary roads avoiding highways. Our first stop is Elets, ancient Russian city, famous for its 33 monasteries and hard struggles during the Second World War.

Next stop is Tula, where we will attend the State Arms Museum and the Yasnaya Polyana Museum-Estate, a place where Leo Tolstoy was born, grew up and was buried. In Yasnaya Polyana, Leo Tolstoy wrote his most famous novels: "War and Peace" and "Anna Karenina". We will visit the grave of the great Russian writer and take a walk along the paths, where he walked once.

In the evening we are going to have a delicious dinner in one of the best Moscow restaurants with traditional local cuisine.
